DIKDIMAS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat with E-ISSN: 2830-2834 is a research, Community Service, and Empowerment Journal. DIKDIMAS is a peer-reviewed online journal. This journal accepts articles that integrate research findings with practical applications aimed at improving community well-beingDIKDIMAS: Journal of Community Service is an academic journal dedicated to facilitating the publication of research and community service initiatives focused on the development of science, technology, and the resolution of social issues that can have a positive impact on society. This journal accommodates a wide range of disciplines and research methodologies that aim to improve the well-being of communities comprehensively, with a primary focus on research related to public health, social development, environmental sustainability, and more. DIKDIMAS: has been accredited by the Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia 10/C/CE/DT.05.00/2025

SCOPE
DIKDIMAS covers a wide array of multidisciplinary fields and provides a platform for research focused on society as well as the development of various sectors of life. The key areas of research included in the journal are:

  1. Public Health and Healthcare Systems

    • Research on healthcare systems, health policies, and healthcare services to improve access, quality, and sustainability of healthcare delivery.

    • Includes studies on disease control, healthcare service systems, and evidence-based health policies.

  2. Environmental and Occupational Health

    • Research on the impact of environmental factors and occupational conditions on public health, including air quality, pollution, and workplace safety.

    • Studies on environmental health policies, risk control, and preventive efforts to improve health in the workplace.

  3. Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management

    • Studies on organizational behavior, human resource management, and dynamics within organizations affecting human resource management, particularly in the health, social, and environmental sectors.

    • Research on leadership, organizational culture, and capacity building in human resources to support social and environmental change.

  4. Applied Psychology and Social Support

    • Research on applied psychology in social and health contexts, as well as the development of social support programs to improve the mental, emotional, and social well-being of communities.

    • Focus on psychological interventions to enhance the quality of life for individuals and groups within communities.

  5. Social Sciences and Community Empowerment

    • Social science research focused on community empowerment, social development, and policies that support sustainable social empowerment.

    • Research on the impact of social policies, social inequality, and community empowerment programs.

    • Research exploring environmental sustainability, such as sustainable resource management, climate change mitigation, and environmentally friendly practices that can be applied in communities and organizations.

    • Research on economics focused on community development, including micro, macro, and sustainable economic development policies.

    • Research on law related to the protection of community rights, public policy, and environmental law.

    • Engineering research focused on technological innovations that improve infrastructure and the quality of life in communities, such as renewable energy, clean technologies, and community-based infrastructure development.

    • Research on designing engineering systems that support social and health development, such as sanitation systems, energy solutions, and information technology.

Accepted Research Methods
DIKDIMAS accepts manuscripts that employ qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method approaches. Below are the accepted research methodologies for publication:

  1. Qualitative Approaches

    • Research focusing on an in-depth understanding of social phenomena through interviews, focus groups, or content analysis. This approach is suitable for case studies and research aiming to explore meanings or experiences in broader social contexts.

  2. Quantitative or Mixed-Methods Approaches

    • Quantitative approaches use statistical data to test hypotheses or describe relationships between variables.

    • Mixed methods combine both qualitative and quantitative approaches to gain a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon being studied.

  3. Case Studies

    • Research that analyzes specific cases to derive findings that can be applied to broader situations, particularly in social issues and community development.

  4. Field Experiments

    • Research conducted in real-world settings to test the effectiveness of interventions or changes within social, health, and environmental contexts.

  5. Surveys and Impact Assessments

    • Data collection from a larger population to evaluate attitudes, opinions, behaviors, and the impact of programs or policies that have been implemented.

Objectives and Goals
The objective of DIKDIMAS is to provide a platform that brings together researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers involved in community service to contribute to improving the quality of life in communities. Through this publication, it is hoped that cross-disciplinary collaboration will help solve social problems, strengthen health, social, economic, legal, and environmental sectors, and enhance the overall well-being of society.

Target Audience
This journal is intended for academics, researchers, students, practitioners, and policymakers interested in topics related to public health, social empowerment, environmental sustainability, economics, law, engineering, and interventions based on research that can create positive changes in communities.

 

Accepted Research Methods:
Qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches, including case studies, field experiments, surveys, and impact assessments. Relevant  Subject Areas: Public Health, Environmental and Occupational Health, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Applied Psychology, Social Sciences, Environmental Science.  Objective Journal: To provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to share evidence-based solutions that improve community well-being through interdisciplinary approaches.
